Tails 'n Trails 4K Dog Walk
Join us at Lake O'Neill for a fun 4K out and back walk along the Lake. The event includes a dog agility course, doggie hydration stations, and grab 'n go goody bags. The walk provides an event that promotes fitness, a healthy lifestyle, and pet responsibility.

This FREE event is for Active Duty and Base Patron families only!
The general public, sponsored visitors, contractors, and other non-base patrons with DBIDS cards or visitor passes, are not eligible to participate. Unfortunately, at this time, patrons with Veteran Health ID Cards are also not eligible to participate in Hard Corps Race Series events.
REGISTRATION
Day-of registration only.
SCHEDULE
9:00am – Venue, Registration, and dog agility courses open
10:00pm – Walk start
11:30am – Venue closes; event concludes
THE FUN STUFF
Dog bandanas & goody bags for the first 300 dogs.
Opportunity drawing for dog toys (one ticket per dog).
RULES
- Please clean up after your dog - pet waste bags will be available
- All dogs must remain leashed at all times
- Leashes must be 6' or less in length
- Event is held rain or shine (unless deemed unsafe)
- Pendleton Races has the right to modify the course if necessary for safety or base training exercises
RESTRICTED BREEDS
Please be advised of the restricted breeds not allowed aboard MCB, Camp Pendleton: Full or mixed breeds of Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, Rottweilers and Candid/Wolf Hybrids or any dog with at least 50 percent ancestry of one of the above breeds.

DIRECTIONS
Main Gate
I-5 Northbound
Take the Camp Pendleton exit.
I-5 Southbound
Take the Camp Pendleton/Harbor Drive exit and turn left.
Enter the main gate and continue on Vandegrift for approximately 8 miles.
Turn left at Santa Margarita Road.
Turn right at Lake O’Neill Road and follow event signs to the parking area.
San Luis Rey Gate
Enter the gate and proceed approximately 4 miles on Vandegrift.
Turn right at Santa Margarita Road.
Turn right at Lake O’Neill Road and follow event signs to the parking area.
