The Semper Fit OohRah Run Series is held throughout the year, from early Spring til late Fall, and is open to competitive runners as well as every fitness level in between. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to run in one of our six races! All races start and end at the CPL Terry L. Smith Gym with the course covering both sides of Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall. Truly some awe-inspiring scenery to see in the early morning. Participants of all ages are welcome. Kids age group is 13 and below, adults are 14 and up. We invite you to join us!

SAPR Spring Salute 5K Run/1 Mile Walk Friday, April 26 • 7:00 am • Cpl Terry L Smith Gym, Henderson Hall. The 2024 OohRah Run Series at Henderson Hall is proudly hosting the 2024 SAPR Spring Salute 5K. The race will begin across from Terry L. Smith Gym and take runners through all of the sights of Joint Base Myer/ Henderson Hall and end back at Smith Gym for our Post Race Awards Ceremony. The first 100 participants will receive a free race T-Shirt as well as a chance to compete for our top awards. Top 3 in the Male/ Female division winners will receive a medal and other prizes. Youth division age 13 and under winners will receive a trophy. On- site registration will be available the day of the race from 5:45 to 6:45 am. On Behalf of Marine Corps Community Services & Semper Fit we welcome you to be a part of our healthy lifestyle events and compete with your fellow friends, family and Service Members! • Check-in and late registration on site starting at 5:45 am. The OohRah Run Series comprises five selected running events throughout the season. This year's OohRah Run Series will be conducted using a simple point system.
- All participants who finish receive 1 point.
- The third place finishers male and female each receive 2 points.
- The second place finishers male and female each receive 3 points.
- The first place finishers male and female each receive 5 points.
- The top male and female with the most points at the end of the series will be the series winners! Prizes will be announced at a later date.
