Policies

Equipment is available on a first-come, first served basis and may be checked out for a three day period. Items not returned by the due date will be assessed a late fee of $3.00 per day.

Patron Responsibility

We do our best to insure that all equipment is clean and in working condition prior to checkout. We encourage you to inspect all equipment prior to leaving Smith Gym. It is your responsibility to return all equipment in the same condition in which you received it. If loss or damage occurs, you will be responsible for reimbursing the Semper Fit Branch Recreation Fund for such loss or damage.

Bikes

Why not hit the trails for some biking and blading this weekend? Arlington County has many miles of multi-use trails just out your back door! Many other Northern Virginia, D.C., and Maryland multi-use trails are Metro accessible. We have: mountain bikes, bike helmets, road vests, and seat covers.

Camping Equipment

Do you want to go camping but don’t have the gear? Most likely we have what you need! Stop by and check out what you need, then discover some of the beautiful camping areas in and around the D.C. Metro area! We have: tents, sleeping bags, backpacks, ISO mats, cots, lanterns, headlamps, stoves.

Sporting Equipment

Looking for something fun to do at your company function or do you just want to throw a ball around with some friends? Check out some of our sporting equipment! We have: basketballs, soccer balls, footballs, volleyballs, racquetball racquets & balls, tennis racquets & balls, softball gear, Frisbees™, golf sets, horseshoe sets, tug–of–war ropes, croquet, coolers, other miscellaneous gear.
