Military Spouse Remote Telework Program
The MOAA Foundation, in partnership with Hiring Our Heroes Military Spouse Program and with support from Microsoft, is excited to announce the Military Spouse Remote Telework Program. This unique opportunity will provide military spouses and their small business employers with the tools necessary to successfully work from a remote location (CONUS), allowing the small business to retain the spouse on staff. Participants will receive hardware, software, contract templates, and technical training tutorials to support a remote work arrangement.

Spouse Transition & Readiness Seminar (STARS)
Designed to provide military spouses with the knowledge, information, and resources associated with the Transition Readiness Seminar (TRS). The workshop will relay practical information to alleviate the stressors associated with the transition process such as: effects of a career change, change or loss of military benefi ts and entitlements, fi nancial & relocation considerations, education & employment information, medical & dental coverage. and veteran benefits. Whether you are just starting your education, trying to advance in your career, or looking for that next great career opportunity, the Spouse Education and Career Opportunities Program can help you search for information on portable careers, get you started on your education, finalize that perfect resume, or assist you with your career planning.
Career Exploration:
Identify career interests and aptitudes and find information about today’s job market and work opportunities, including portable skills and careers, entrepreneurship and top federal employment options.
Education, Training, and Licensing:
Identify education, training and licensing/certification opportunities as well as financial aid resources and scholarships.
Career Connections:
Connect with corporations, government organizations and non–profits to gain meaningful, long-term, portable employment.
Employment Readiness:
Receive face-to-face support at the installation level for topics such as resume writing, interviewing skills, federal employment, job search strategies, dressing for success, job fairs, career assessments and more.

My Career Advancement Account (MYCAA) Sholarship Program
The MYCAA is a workforce development program that provides up to $4,000 of financial assistance to eligible military spouses who are pursuing a license, certification or Associate’s degree in a portable career field and occupation.
