Operation Santa Claus 2024 at MCAS Miramar 

Santa Claus has made arrangements with the MCAS Miramar Fire Department and the Provost Marshal Office to make a special appearance and visit Marine Corps Air Station Miramar neighborhood children on Wednesday, December 18, 2024.  He will be landing here on MCAS Miramar Air Field to hitch a ride with the Military Police and firefighters who will bring him to the various developments on MCAS Miramar. 

Santa Claus will begin his tour between 5:15 pm and 5:30 pm, and work his way around starting at: Gonsalves Ave, Elrod Ave, Canopus Dr, Bellatrix Dr, Gonsalves Ave, Elrod Ave, Mator Ave, Delta Rd, Mator Dr, Delta Rd, Sun King Rd, Delta Rd, Orion Dr, Elrod Rd, ending on Mitscher Way at the Fire House. 

Santa and his escorts will have their light on and blow their sirens and horns as he approaches, so you'll know when he's coming to your area.  He's bringing candy canes and he will do his best to make it to your street, but you may want to make your way to one of the above streets and listen for him nearby. 

So come out and meet Santa on his special visit on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at 5:00pm. Remember to be extra cautious with Christmas trees and decorations so they're fire safe, and to test your smoke detectors.
