Marine Corps spouses, family members, and friends have a proud history of volunteerism within Marine Corps units. Family Readiness Volunteers, who include Family Readiness Command Team Advisors, Family Readiness Assistants, and Non-Appointed Volunteers, proudly support Marines and their families.

Unit, Personnel, and Family Readiness Program (UPFRP) volunteers are involved with everything from morale events to welcoming new families to a unit to providing resources to fellow families, just to name a few. Their contributions often go unnoticed as they support a Family Readiness Command Team (FRCT) behind the scenes.

Whether they are serving Thanksgiving pie to Marines, packing treat bags to welcome home Marines after deployment, creating fun games for kids’ events, or helping a Deployment Readiness Coordinator (DRC) or Uniformed Readiness Coordinator (URC) with administrative tasks, their support enables a FRCT to strengthen personal and family readiness and increase morale.

Every contribution you have made or are making is a force multiplier – enabling your unit’s Marines to better focus on their mission.
